I overheard a conversation at work between a few of my coworkers. It was regarding the earthquake in chile and the tsunami that was threatening Hawaii. I didn't catch the whole conversation, but it had something to do with "glued to CNN" and "then it was nothing".
From where I came in, it almost seemed like the whole ordeal was an anticlinax and that it was upsetting that Hawaii didn't get destroyed. Now, I know that is not what was meant because my coworker would never be like that, but I told her that I was going to blog about it anyway.
What do you think? Did the media make it sound like California was going to fall off the US?
